Commission Payment Process

1. When your file is complete and approved by the Compliance Team and we receive the commission before noon, your commission is processed that same day.

2. When your file is complete and approved by the Compliance Team and we receive the commission after 12:00 PM, we try our best to process it that same day, however, your commission might be processed the next business day.

3. When your file is incomplete and/or unapproved, your commission will be processed when all required paperwork has been submitted and approved.

If you have questions about a specific commission, email  Accounting@Realtypath.com or call Agent Services at (801) 386-5908.

Commission Payout Options

You chose the delivery method of your commission when you completed your “Join Packet”.

To change your delivery method, email Accounting@Realtypath.com

You have the choice of 3 different methods:

1. We can directly deposit your commission into your bank account using ACH.

  • This is the preferred, quickest, and most convenient way to get paid.
  • Complete and email a “Direct Deposit Authorization Form” (RP028 in the Realtypath library) to Accounting@Realtypath.com
  • Your commission is typically processed by your bank and will appear in your bank account the next banking day.

2. We can write a paper check and you can come to the Agent Service Center in Sandy and pick it up (always call first to ensure your check is ready 801-386-5908).

3. We can write a check and mail it to you via USPS first class.

What Will Delay Payment?

1. Your file is incomplete. Always review the compliance checklist in your Skyslope transaction folder a few days prior to closing to ensure everything is present and correct.

  • All pages of every document
  • All signatures and initials
  • All dates
  • All Addenda
  • All Disclosures

2. Title Company does not return the Title Company Wiring Instructions Form (RP060 in RealtypathLibrary.com) Because we process many commissions each day, receipt of a commission from a Title Company without knowing who it is for or what the property address is, causes a research delay.

3. Title Company cuts a physical check instead of Wiring Funds. The “Good Funds” law in Utah allows for up to 10 days for a check to clear. We hope for clearance before 10 days, but we cannot process any uncleared funds.
